Santa Barbara Control Systems (SBCS) seeks to maintain its world-class customer support, including providing repair service when needed.
All Chemtrol controllers have a five-year electronics warranty. All Chemtrol PPM sensors have a two-year warranty, and all other Chemtrol sensors have a one-year warranty.
For warrantied controllers, customers are to send in their unit with the completed and printed Repairs / Returns Form in the shipment. When received, we will evaluate and repair the controller with a goal to return it to you as soon as we are able to. If a loaner controller is urgently needed, please contact customer support in advance and note this in the Form.
For non-warrantied controllers, we will evaluate and send an estimate via email to the address you note in the Form. Upon receiving your approval, we will conduct the needed repairs and return the unit with an invoice. Note that after one month of sending an estimate for a non-warrantied unit, a $50/month stocking fee will be applied. If you need more time to approve a non-warrantied repair, please contact customer support.
If there is a need to return a controller that is not related to repairs, or for any return of a sensor, communicate with customer support to obtain an email confirming your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). After receiving your RMA, send in your unit or sensor with the completed and printed Repairs / Returns Form in the shipment. Upon receiving your unit, we will contact you to complete the process.
