An Automated and Manual Flow Interlock
The CHEMTROL® Flow Interlock Box (FIB) is a safety tool to ensure that water circulation is occurring at any time when a device is powered to control water parameters. This is a redundancy-level, power-interlock device that can automatically or manually shut off control in case of a lack of flow.
Multiple outputs can connect through the Flow Interlock Box. These outputs will only be relayed to feed devices if the N.O. input sensor of the Flow Interlock Box indicates that flow exists. As long as the Flow Interlock Box is powered and the input flow sensor indicates flow, then connections are made between the controller and individual feed devices. A green light indicates flow and that connections for control are enabled. A red light indicates a lack of flow and that connections for control are disabled. Connections can also be immdeiately disabled manually by pushing the red halt button, dis-enabling connections and indicating so with the red light.
